(@Morgan) she is well... she's going back to sleep for a while
(Marta) Alright. I heard her giggling, it was good to hear
* @Morgan nods
(Marta) She will have ups and downs for a little while, it will have been very traumatic
(@Morgan) I can only imagine
(Marta) Also, I wanted to ask you... this doctor in Carleon... has any thing been done about him?
* @Morgan shakes his head
(@Morgan) its a complicated reason why, but it was not my place to at the time.
* Marta nods
(@Morgan) I intend to rectify that situation when we are next there
(Marta) That would be good
* @Morgan nods
(Marta) I would suggest that you might ask if Frau Fuchs would be willing to provide Molly some support in the next few days. She is likely to want to talk about the experience in depth, and ideally a female family member or friend would serve this role
* @Morgan nods
(@Morgan) I shall do so
(Marta) Thank you, my Lord
(@Morgan) what on Thea for?
(Marta) I would have lost my patient today had you not been here.
(@Morgan) She just needed some help to focus on getting through it and working with the tide, rather than against it
(Marta) No I had tried that already. She need to get the reassurances from you that you would survive it.
* @Morgan nods
(@Morgan) perhaps
(Marta) You will be on the Estate if she asks for you, my Lord?
* @Morgan nods
(@Morgan) absolutely
* Marta nods
(Marta) Anything else, my Lord?
* @Morgan shakes his head, moving to the door
(@Morgan) send for anything that is needed
(Marta) *having assured him she will, he walks through the house. He passes a window upstairs above the stable, and he catches a glimpse of a horse coming up the drive to the stable
* @Morgan backs up to watch it
(Marta) **Mina rides side saddle on the cream horse, body language tense. Edward is waiting for her, walking purposefully towards the horse. He helps her dismount, keeping her close, and before her feet touch the ground he buries his face in the curve of her neck and spins her around as he holds her tight. Morgan can see the uncommonly informal grin on her face.
(Marta) He lowers her to the ground gently, though they stay close. Morgan could choose to lip read from this distance. (done)
* @Morgan tries to make out what they say
(Marta) E: She's alright and the danger has passed.
(Marta) M: *relieved* Oh Eddie, I am so glad!
(Marta) E: *He nods* As am I. It was terrifying. I just could not stop thinking about how he would feel, and how much more worried he would have been because of what I did. *He bows his head*
(Marta) M: It's all over now, moving forward is important. How are they?
(Marta) E: Molly is resting and recuperating. Morgan is calm enough, for now.
(Marta) M: Good. I missed you today.
(Marta) E: I had to be here, Mimi. I couldn't let Morgan or my father down. I had to know that if she didn't make it he would have someone there immediately afterwards.
(Marta) M: That is kind of you
(Marta) E: *He shrugs* I don't want any animosity. I want us to have what brothers have. I cannot undo what I did, but I can keep repenting for it
(Marta) M: *She squeezes his arm* I understand.
(Marta) E: *He puts two fingers under her chin,  tilting her face up to his, and looks at her with intensity before suddenly pressing his mouth firmly to hers. Mina returns it, and neither of them spot the approach of another rider in the distance, albeit partially shielded by the horse
* @Morgan looks to the other horse
(Marta) **It's hard to be sure, but he guess it is Mina's father
* @Morgan mutters
(@Morgan) well this is about to be awkward
(Marta) **Edward appears to hear the horse just in the nick of time, stepping away and bowing politely to her as if nothing had happened.
* @Morgan smirks and heads downstairs
(Marta) **in the rough vicinity of the dining hall, he finds Ana, Katherine and Mia talking quietly. They appear to be discussing whether something will happen at both churches
* @Morgan smiles faintly to himself before moving to quietly just 'appear' near them
(Marta) **All three of them jump, followed by a chorus of "My Lord"s
* @Morgan chuckles to himself
(@Morgan) I'm sorry, old habits... so... what is going to happen in both churches?
(Marta) K: His Grace wants a peal of bells to give thanks for M-... The Veisgrafin's recovery, my Lord
(@Morgan) Oh now that could be controversial
(Marta) A: why, my Lord?
(@Morgan) Because people do like to get riled up around religion]
(Marta) A: *She nods* yes, my Lord. How is the Veisgrafin now?
(@Morgan) Better than you might imagine, but still quite weak. I've left her to rest
(Marta) **they all look pleased** M: I'm proper glad about that, my Lord
(@Morgan) as am I, Mia
(Marta) K: She let us try on her ball gown this morning
(@Morgan) oh?
(Marta) **the others look at her as if she wasn't supposed to have said anything*
(Marta) K: *She just nods*
* @Morgan smiles slightly
(@Morgan) unwieldy aren;t they
(Marta) K: it was very heavy
* @Morgan nods
(@Morgan) I wouldn't let that get back to Frau Liebstern, if she disapproves of me much more she'll start some sort of riot against me
(Marta) **they all giggle*
(Marta) **there's a quiet ringing noise. They all sigh a little*
* @Morgan turns slightly
(@Morgan) quickly now, the horses need their feed
(Marta) **they laugh even more at this before curtseying and disappearing towards the kitchen
* @Morgan heads for the dining room
(Marta) **The other occupants have assembled. Faulk, Nussbaum, Stef and Colonel Fuchs, Mina, her father, Adalbrecht and Edward.  It takes a few minutes for everyone to be seated. Morgan is sat between Mina and Adalbrecht
(Marta) Faulk: I hope Molly is doing well, if you have seen her?
* @Morgan nods
(Marta) **everyone is paying attention, the staff flit around them serving food
(@Morgan) I've spent a few minutes with her... as you would imagine she is very tired
(Marta) Mina: Please send my regards, I do hope that she is well enough for me to bid her farewell tomorrow before we leave, but if not perhaps I might write to her?
(@Morgan) I'm sure she will wish to see you, and letters are always welcomed
(Marta) Fuchs: Will you be sailing in the near future?
(@Morgan) We were meant to sail tomorrow but... circumstance has dictated otherwise
(Marta) **Faulk starts to eat, which starts the others doing so, and smaller conversations begin
(Marta) E: Where will you be sailing to?
(@Morgan) The ocean
(Marta) E: *he rolls his eyes briefly*
(@Morgan) Frieburg and then to Avalon
(Marta) E: Will you be visiting Uncle Chrisopher?
(@Morgan) I hadn't planned to, but since all of the plans have had to change, I might
(Marta) Adalbrecht: He will like that. It has been many years since your Mother last visited him
* @Morgan nods
(Marta) **These simple conversations run on. He discovers that Edward was supposed to have a meeting with Mina's father this morning to discuss the details of the dowry,  but Edward rescheduled until tomorrow. The dinner is not awkward, but Nussbaum seems like an odd one out in a group where close connections have formed
(Marta) **after a while, pudding is brought out, another chocolate cake like the one Varick had demolished
(Marta) E: *He starts praising the cake, and proclaims it the best chocolate cake in the Konigsreich, and spends a little time engaging in a playful, witty, back and forth argument with Mina about whether the cake in Graben is better.
(Marta) Nuss: Veisgraf Sudlachenburg, I hear that Innesbruck and Koln are flourishing under your watchful eye
(@Morgan) They're good people who want their homes to be successful, which is always a boon

(Nussbaum) The young Freiarr is flourishing also, I hope?
(Nussbaum) **the servants serve cake to them all
(@Morgan) He's doing well, all things considered.
* Nussbaum nods, watching Morgan before eating some cake "The cake is good, your Grace". Faulk eats some, looking surprised, and even Mina concedes that Edward was correct
* @Morgan tries some of the cake
(Nussbaum) **This is a very familiar recipe tweaked to have less sugar, made exactly to Morgan's taste
(@Morgan) I'm not overly fond of sweets but this is rather delicious 
(Nussbaum) **Everyone agrees with him
(Nussbaum) **Dinner ends, with Mina and Stef retiring to the drawing room whilst port and cigars happen. For the first time he has seen, Edward is smoking too. Fuchs tries to catch Morgan's attention

* Fuchs leads him further away from the others
(Fuchs) I have things I want to see to, but I wanted to check in with you before going. Do you need me for anything?
(@Morgan) actually, there is a request for you... I was wondering if Stef would mind spending some time with Molly, Marta feels she will need someone to talk to who would have a greater understanding of what happened than I
(Fuchs) I am sure Stef would be very grateful to be able to help in any way. She has not even been home today, she went straight to church and then when Molly sent the note for the Priest, Stef came back here

(@Morgan) I truly appreciate that
(Fuchs) I should imagine His ears were ringing from the amount of prayers said for your wife today
* @Morgan nods
(@Morgan) speaking of ringing... I hear his grace wishes to have the bells rung in celebration of Molly's recovery
* Fuchs smiles
(Fuchs) Indeed he does

(Fuchs) I am told instructions were given that no-one name Koertig was to be allowed to see Grafin Seeufer
* @Morgan nods slowly
(@Morgan) I gave those instructions
* Fuchs nods
(Fuchs) You feel that should remain?
(@Morgan) It probably doesn't need to... 
* Fuchs nods slowly
(Fuchs) Alright
(@Morgan) unless you don't agree?
(Fuchs) If you feel your father, brother, and yourself are sufficiently controlled enough to not do something regretful,  I do not feel the order is necessary

(@Morgan) realistically, it was more me that was a danger. Rescind the order colonel, I will not cause any issues
* @Morgan tilts his head
(@Morgan) for a change
* Fuchs inclines his head
(Fuchs) Anything more?
* @Morgan shakes his head
(@Morgan) let me know what Stef says please
(Fuchs) I will have word sent. Good evening
* @Morgan inclines his head to Fuchs, watching him go
(Fuchs) **Adalbrecht and Edward have started keeping an eye on Morgan, and it is clear they are both keen to have the discussion Morgan wanted. Faulk is talking to Nussbaum aside.
