[21:14] (Molly) [21:07] (Molly) **The party runs it's course, and they head back en masse to the Manor House. A few hours pass before it is silent enough for Morgan to perform the sort of patrol that he likes to do in a busy house. By the time he reaches his bed it is nearly two o'clock. [21:14] (Molly) [21:08] (Molly) Molly sleeps naked, one curvy freshly bathed leg reaching over to his side of the bed. The familiar scent of her perfume lingers on her skin. She smiles in her sleep. Though he manages to disarm and undress in near silence, the moment his skin touches hers she rouses, pulling him to her and wriggling beneath him, urging him into her. [21:14] (Molly) [21:09] (Molly) Her response is almost instant, and his is not much slower, strokes hard and fast, both focused on the end goal. Soon they're asleep, and four short hours later he awakens, dawn long gone. With much to be done in their final day at Innesbruck, they're up and dressed quickly. [21:14] (Molly) [21:11] (Molly) After hearing Molly set up hour long meetings for each with Theresa, Heinrich, Ghalen, Walder, the cook and maid, he knows his wife has a busy day ahead. Soon he's off out with Otto, Sorgi, the sudlachenburgers and David to deal with a few small issues around the village and see their hard work, as well as provide reassurance to the villagers. [21:16] (Molly) The weather is good, and they walk the half mile to the village. Though Otto tries to look ill, to Morgan's trained eye the man he has known for his entire adult life looks no less sprightly than his new father in law [21:16] (Molly) ((Done)) [21:19] ** You're now known as Forrester [21:21] * Forrester gives instructions for their first stop, a farm on the far side of the village. As they head that direction, David starts to slow a little to allow him to converse privately with his son in law [21:21] (Forrester) You're both well today? [21:23] * @Morgan nods [21:23] (@Morgan) Aye, we are... you? [21:23] * Forrester watches the group ahead a moment [21:24] (Forrester) I am yes. I need to speak with you about something [21:24] (@Morgan) I rather imagined that would be the case [21:24] * Forrester takes out a cigar, lighting it before speaking [21:25] (Forrester) Molly has done a wonderful job here. She's very capable and organised. [21:25] * @Morgan nods [21:25] (@Morgan) she's a very clever individual [21:26] * Forrester nods [21:27] (Forrester) Which is why I want her to go to Tawstock to put my affairs in order for me [21:27] (@Morgan) as I recall, _you_ were doing that [21:28] * Forrester nods slightly [21:29] (Forrester) I was planning to... But Martha was so ill on the short sail just to Freiburg. Several weeks would be unbearable for her [21:29] (@Morgan) I see... [21:30] * Forrester takes this as him agreeing [21:31] (Forrester) It makes sense, as you're going to Avalon anyway [21:32] (@Morgan) I can see the sense in it, yes... but its not my choice to do it or otherwise... [21:32] (Forrester) ** the others are far enough ahead that only yelling would be heard* [21:33] (Forrester) No? [21:33] (@Morgan) whether or not Molly accedes to doing it is entirely her choice, not mine [21:34] (Forrester) But you can encourage her, cant you? [21:34] * Forrester smiles [21:35] * @Morgan looks at him, raising an eyebrow [21:37] (Forrester) I wouldn't want to be without Martha so long, and wouldn't want to make her so ill for such a trivial reason [21:38] (@Morgan) You think Molly would nnot understand that? [21:39] (Forrester) I think she is more inclined to do it if you recommended it [21:39] (@Morgan) And thats why I'll not interfere [21:40] (Forrester) You think she shouldn't? [21:40] * Forrester frowns briefly [21:41] (@Morgan) I didn't say that... I just dont believe it to be fair to ask her to do something that important and ask me to, essentially, manipulate her into doing it... [21:41] * Forrester sighs [21:41] (Forrester) Alright, point taken. [21:43] * @Morgan nods [21:43] (Forrester) I'll speak to her later [21:45] * @Morgan nods [21:45] (@Morgan) good idea [21:45] * Forrester smokes his cigar, brooding a little for a few minutes [21:46] (Forrester) How... Provincial... are you feeling today? [21:46] * @Morgan chuckles [21:46] (@Morgan) that depends [21:46] (Forrester) On? [21:47] (@Morgan) on what you're going to spring on me [21:47] * Forrester looks to him, deadly serious [21:48] (Forrester) In truth, I'm not sure. But I'd hope that I can speak to you as I would a fellow Avalonian. [21:48] (@Morgan) ah, monsters and magic... [21:49] * Forrester nods, blowing out the smoke [21:49] (Forrester) Something isn't right here [21:50] * @Morgan looks at David sidelong [21:51] (@Morgan) speak your mind David... [21:52] (Forrester) It started back in Sudlachenburg... I'm not sure if Molly told you. I started to be able to sense Martha's emotions [21:52] * Forrester watches Morgan's reaction [21:52] * @Morgan nods slowly [21:53] (@Morgan) I didn't know that, but I'm not terrbily surprised... [21:53] * Forrester nods [21:54] (Forrester) Initially I could sense Molly's also but I quickly stopped being able to. She probably didn't tell you because that sort of thing is so hated here [21:55] (@Morgan) I've a theory on that, bu7t carry on [21:55] * Forrester looks thoughtful [21:56] (Forrester) That doesn't entirely connect to my main concern [21:56] (@Morgan) so, a side issue [21:59] * Forrester looks a little worried [22:00] (Forrester) Otto [22:00] (@Morgan) What about him? [22:01] (Forrester) Look at him. It's as if he's rewound the last decade. Last time you were here, I was worried that the work was too much for him, now he's one of the fittest men here [22:02] (@Morgan) I understand your concern David... [22:03] (Forrester) And Sorgi, who is convinced Molly saved his life with the far more advanced Avalonian medicines... [22:03] * Forrester looks to Morgan [22:04] (Forrester) Now I know she has an interest in herbs and the human body, but Avalonian medicine is no better than Eisen medicine [22:05] * Forrester scrutinises Morgan's expression [22:05] (@Morgan) Generally speaking it is... we spent far more time working out how to kill eachother than heal each other [22:06] * Forrester shakes his head [22:07] (Forrester) If Otto was in Avalon, he'd still be incurable by conventional medicine, you don't need to be a doctor see how ill he was [22:09] * @Morgan glances at David [22:09] (@Morgan) your point, David... [22:10] * Forrester sighs [22:10] (Forrester) I strongly suspect there's magic at play here [22:10] (@Morgan) Alright... and? [22:11] (Forrester) And I'm concerned for her [22:11] (@Morgan) why? [22:12] (Forrester) Because if I could figure it out, others could too... Superstitious, Eisen people. [22:13] (@Morgan) I see... [22:13] * Forrester shrugs slightly [22:14] (@Morgan) You're worried history will repeat itself in that I wont be able to protect her [22:14] * Forrester looks surprised [22:15] (Forrester) I hadn't thought of it quite that way, no [22:15] (@Morgan) but its accurate... [22:16] (Forrester) It is a huge concern of yours? *he watches Morgan with a gentle yet respectful expression* [22:17] (@Morgan) No, its not. For two reasons, one, most of the others weren't aware how ill Otto was, or indeed that Avalonian medicine isn't any better than our own... you only know that because you're from there... [22:18] * Forrester nods [22:18] (Forrester) Hopefully that will help prevent people learning of it [22:19] * @Morgan nods slowly [22:21] (Forrester) As an Avalonian, it doesn't trouble me. I'm proud of what she's done for them. But it's not well-liked here, and I don't want that for her [22:22] (@Morgan) She'll be fine... I'll have a word with Sorgi to keep his theorising to himself [22:22] (Forrester) Do any of them know? [22:23] (@Morgan) Otto knows [22:23] * Forrester nods, thoughtful [22:23] (Forrester) You trust him a great deal [22:24] (@Morgan) Of course [22:24] (@Morgan) and he trusts me, certainly even with his soul... [22:24] (Forrester) That can't have been easy for either of them [22:24] (@Morgan) No, it wasn't. Nor I [22:25] * Forrester nods [22:25] (Forrester) He's very fond of her. He was asking me lots of questions [22:25] (@Morgan) Oh? [22:27] (Forrester) What she was like as a child, how you two met... It's very sudden [22:27] (@Morgan) I think he may have a peculiar idea in his head that he needs dispelling... I'll deal with it [22:28] * Forrester looks confused but nods [22:28] (Forrester) He doesn't seem to be a danger [22:28] (@Morgan) No, I wouldn't imagine so [22:29] * Forrester nods, sighing with relief [22:29] (Forrester) Has she had it long? [22:30] (@Morgan) a while, though its not her only talent [22:30] (Forrester) Such as? [22:31] (@Morgan) Its a little hard to explain... she can make me aware of her feelings, if she's scared, unhappy, worried, that sort of thing... [22:33] * Forrester looks intrigued [22:34] (Forrester) Healing magic I'd heard of, but not anything like that. [22:35] (@Morgan) At some point, we'll discuss the difference between the magic floating around now and what used to be... [22:38] * Forrester nods [22:39] (Forrester) I wonder if it's similar to me being able to read Martha's emotions [22:40] (@Morgan) it sounds like it [22:41] * Forrester nods, quiet. Morgan can see the farm just ahead [22:41] (@Morgan) Would you care to tell me why we wont be in Sudlachenburg together for a while? [22:43] (Forrester) Because I'm hoping to be staying here when you go back tomorrow [22:43] (@Morgan) why? [22:44] (Forrester) To work. We're only a day or two off harvesting now [22:46] (Forrester) Believe it or not, I'm actually quite happy in Eisen. The weather's good, my work is satisfying. The people are a little different, but they're for the most part kind and hardworking. [22:46] (@Morgan) for the most part, aye [22:47] * Forrester nods [22:48] (Forrester) I'm happy here. Martha's happy here. [22:48] * @Morgan nods [22:48] (@Morgan) good [22:49] (Forrester) **they get near to the others ((incase Morgan has anything to bring up))* [22:53] (@Morgan) ((no, nothing))
