[21:42] * Molly strokes his shoulder, resting her head back to the soft pillow
[21:42] (Molly) Oh? Another mystery?
[21:43] (@Morgan) No... apparently I deserved some explanation, since what she thinks are angels have absolutely no idea what this magic business is
[21:45] * Molly stiffens slightly, hand ceasing it's movement
[21:45] (Molly) Angels?
[21:46] (@Morgan) Thats what she thinks they are... I'm not in a position to guess
[21:49] (Molly) What explanation did she give?
[21:49] (@Morgan) the rules for why she appeared as Dietlinde
[21:49] (@Morgan) for a starter
[21:52] * Molly nods, though he feels rather than sees it
[21:53] (Molly) Would you like me to make you some tea while you tell me?
[21:53] (@Morgan) only if you wish to blossom
[22:00] * Molly stands, taking a sheet with her, which she quickly wraps around herself. She sets to lighting the fire
[22:00] (Molly) Why did she?
[22:01] (@Morgan) she... do you want me to sort the fire blossom?

[22:02] * @Morgan rolls out of the bed and approaches the hearth
[22:03] (@Morgan) she had to appear as a loved one of someone who's been touched by death, whose loved ones had never sat in Theus' waiting room, and the person being visited must not have any sort of magic
[22:03] * @Morgan concentrates on lighting the fire
[22:12] * Molly busies herself with the kettle
[22:13] (Molly) That would rule you out on one count and me on two
[22:13] * @Morgan looks at her
[22:14] (@Morgan) two?
[22:15] (Molly) The magic one and the touched by death one
[22:15] * @Morgan watches her for a moment
[22:15] (@Morgan) apparently their paperwork isn't up to date
[22:16] * Molly brings the kettle and hangs it above his fire

[22:16] (@Morgan) well, it should indeed have ruled me out... these decision makers, powers that be she called them, weren't aware of my having any... apparently it was the cause of much consternation

[22:19] (@Morgan) There's little I can learn about it for the time being, and less I can do about it... so, though it goes against my normal nature... it is what it is

[22:27] (@Morgan) a first visit is rare, a second unheard of... but it was a special case apparently
[22:27] * Molly makes them both tea, studiously keeping her gaze from his body

[22:29] * Molly hands him a cup, her hand trembles a little

[22:36] * Molly climbs back in to bed. She blows on the tea, watching him through veiled lashes

[22:38] (@Morgan) I feel a little better having had it explained
[22:39] * Molly nods
[22:40] (Molly) That is good. What does she truly look like?
[[22:42] * @Morgan sips his tea
[22:42] (@Morgan) brown hair, rather pretty... a little older than I
[22:46] * Molly nods
[22:46] (Molly) Was she nice?

[22:47] (@Morgan) she's happy we want to adopt Varick

[22:50] * Molly moves on the bed til she's laid on her tummy across the foot of the bed, watching him. Her derriere is covered by the sheet

[23:48] (MollyK) You can have a blacksmith fix it, but all its strength is gone
[23:51] (@Morgan) Something like that... so you've lost your sword, the one with the engraving that you're so attached to... so for a while you try other swords, glaves, axes... until at some point you might be lucky enough to find another sword that feels just right... that makes you feel safe with it... and while you still miss your old sword, you never wish that this new sword was your old one
