< 04Molly > 13 4 5 days have past since the day the bucket got stuck. Molly has been busy giving orders in her absense, and readying lady Catherine for the journey. Lord jaeger has been in his room, attended by one of the serving girls, as he is ill. The morning of the depature for Castille has arrived, the day clear but breezy, a cold crisp autumn morning. They have arranged for the coach to come to the courtyard, Lady Catherine having already gone by another coach. < 04Molly > 13having already gone by another coach * Molly clatters through the diningroom in to the courtyard, carrying a large trunk, struggling slightly < 14Evie > *Loud thunks of wood on wood can be heard down the stairs, There is Evie casually pulling a large trunk down there, she somehow has managed to balance her pistol on the trunk without it falling off.. THUNK!.. The trunk smacks of the bottom of the stairs, Evie then decides to carry the trunk before she potentially wakes up anyone that remains sleeping* oo feck! *she unloads the pistol* < 14Evie > *and carries on walkig to the outside, a chill runs down her spine from the autumnal breeze, and yet, she hold a smile surveying the patchwork of colours on the ground* * Molly places her trunk on the floor, and dusts off her skirt. She looks around < 04Molly > 13Good morning Evie * Evie also places her trunk on the floor...maybe a bit too loudly, she stands up straight and stretches < 14Evie > *Without taking her eyes off of the colourful trees, she replies* Top of the morning to ye.. * Molly sits on her trunk, as delicately as possible. She looks tired, her eyes closed for a moment * Evie gently taps Molly's trunk with her foot < 14Evie > there'll be plenty of time to sleep on the way there love, best to get everything in as quick as possible-you don't want to be walking around the docks at night love * Molly looks up < 04Molly > 13Yes, quite... < 04Molly > 13I am sure I shall feel much more lively once we are moving * Molly smiles, looking at the floor < 14Evie > If you keep moving, you'll take your mind of the tiredness. This fresh air shall wake you up aswell when your moving around < 04Molly > 13I shall be fine Evie. * Evie smiles < 14Evie > Right, who is in what coach then? < 04Molly > 13Lady Catherine has already left, but I believe Morgan is coming with us < 14Evie > Right, well i better put this trunk in the coach, want me to put yours in for you love? < 04Molly > 13Yes, thank you... oh, I nearly forgot! * Molly stands, and goes back inside * Evie looks at Molly leave in slight confusipn, while she waits she decides to put her own trunk in the coach, and leave Molly's just incase she wants to put the item on question in her trunk * Molly returns, gold bag over her shoulder bulging, and Jaeger's sword in the other hand < 04Molly > 13I doubt I shall need this, but it would worry Lord Jaeger to find it here in my absense * Evie smiles, "want to keep it with you in the carriage? or do you want it in the trunk?" * Molly looks down at the short sword < 04Molly > 13I truly do not know, I shall ask Morgan I think < 14Evie > Where is he at the moment? * Molly looks around < 04Molly > 13I have not seen him this morning at all < 14Evie > Hmm... < 14Evie > does he know we depart now? * Morgan emerges from the doors to the dining room's antechamber, a sack over one shoulder, his swordbelt, adorned with several pouches and various weapons, and a purple shoulder bag slung over the other * Molly laughs < 04Molly > 13Of course * Evie smiles < 14Evie > Ahhh...there he is * Evie inclines her head to Morgan "Morning" * Molly looks at him, taking in his appearance and kit < 14Evie > *she turns her attention back to the trees around her* * Morgan coughs hard for a moment < 14Morgan > morning < 04Molly > 13Good morning... Are you well? < 14Morgan > Well enough * Molly nods, eye's showing the sign of lack of sleep < 04Molly > 13I am pleased to hear it * Morgan looks to Jaegers sword < 14Morgan > you intend to take it then? * Molly looks to him < 04Molly > 13I believe I ought to, for he would be even more troubled were I to leave it behind and go defenceless * Evie looks to Molly < 14Evie > is Master Jaeger staying here then? or shall he arrive later? < 04Molly > 13No, he is not well enough to travel, and ought to stay here to be cared for... * Molly 's voice trails off, and she sounds worried * Evie notices the tone of her voice < 14Evie > Well he has plenty of care at the moment, don't want to crowd him too much ey? < 04Molly > 13No, but I feel that I ought to be the one to stay behind and do my duty as his wife to be * Molly looks at the floor < 04Molly > 13 4 The coach driver looks to the group, waiting patiently < 14Evie > I'm sure if you did, you would succeed in making him feel guilty for him being the reason you do not go on this visit * Molly sighs < 04Molly > 13Yes, I suppose you are right. * Molly looks at Morgan < 04Molly > 13Should I put this with the trunks, or carry it with me? < 14Morgan > carry it with you * Molly smiles < 04Molly > 13I shall find it a burden once we are in the monestry, especially when I wear the red dress... * Molly looks down, turning the sword around in her fingers < 14Morgan > if you wish, I can carry it for you * Molly looks him up and down < 04Molly > 13I would not wish to weigh you down... * Evie looks confused < 14Evie > you said that not everyone can protect you all the time...so...erm..wouldnt it make sense for you to carry it? * Molly smiles at her < 04Molly > 13I would wish to be safe, but still beautiful, and such a weapon would hinder that I believe * Evie giggles < 14Evie > proberbly why i havn't had too many propositions of marriage * Evie pats her mace and smile < 14Evie > *smiles * Molly blushes < 04Molly > 13I am glad then to have taken up the sword so late, for I should not wish to have missed the affection I have received * Molly quickly moves to the coach, allowing the coachman to help her inside * Evie picks up Molly's trunk and places it carefully next to her own trunk < 14Evie > need any help with bags? *she looks at Morgan* * Morgan hefts the sack into the luggage compartment < 14Morgan > No, there's barely anything in it < 14Evie > ok * Molly watches them through the window, sat behind the driver so that she is travelling backwards * Evie smiles at Morgan briefly before moving round to the coach door < 14Evie > Hmmm *she looks at her mace, she unsheathes it and throws it in the coach, making sure she misses Molly, then hoists herself inside, she picks up her mace and sits opposite Molly, she rests the mace in between her leg and the side of the coach* * Morgan climbs into the carriage, sitting in a corner, facing forwards * Molly watches out of the window as the carriage pulls away from the house < 04Molly > 13I should imagine travelling on a ship will be wonderful... * Evie smiles < 14Evie > it is...to see all that water around you... yet some people from my experience get quite ill on ships....i do not see how.. < 04Molly > 13Having never travelled upon one before, it is quite possible I will not be able to wander above deck as I had wished * Molly looks at Morgan, then at Evie < 04Molly > 13Do you both find travel by ship agrees with you? * Evie looks at all the beautiful evironment outside, admiring this wonderful time of the year < 14Evie > Yes, i do not see how it can't agree with people to be honest < 04Molly > 13I believe that Lord Jaeger finds it most unpleasant < 14Morgan > He did tell me that he is often sick as a dog when he travels oversea * Morgan digs in the bag and finds a whetstone. A moment later, he begins to sharpen the edge of a small axe < 04Molly > 13It might be the same for me, it is possible this will be the last I see of either of you for many days! * Molly laughs softly * Evie smiles < 14Evie > i have a feeling you won't feel ill * Evie starts softly humming an old innish lullaby to herself < 04Molly > 13If I do, I shall no doubt sleep it off, for the rest would be welcomed * Molly smiles slightly < 14Evie > If you are sick, do try to come upstairs, at least once-the creatures taht can be seen in the sea are unreal < 04Molly > 13You can rest assured I will spend time upon the deck wherever possible, I would dearly wish to see the sea, for I never have before < 04Molly > 13It has been a month of firsts for me, and only fitting that I continue that with the sight and sound of the ocean beneath me * Molly fiddles with her bag, looking down at it, undoing and redoing the large gold buttons < 04Molly > 13 4 The carriage arrives in the village, going through the small square slowly. < 14Evie > Do we need to get anything here? * Molly watches through the window at the various people in the village, small children playing, houswives gossiping, a young couple kissing. She gasps slightly before turning back to Evie's voice < 04Molly > 13Oh, no, nothing... * Morgan swears under his breath * Morgan slowly puts the axe down on the seat before speaking quietly < 14Morgan > I'd say thats sharp * Molly looks at him < 04Molly > 13Are you hurt? * Evie is distracted by the young couple, her face saddens < 14Morgan > a minor cut * Molly sits forward to see < 04Molly > 13Would you have it bandaged, or is it not required? < 14Morgan > I dont think it is needed, it is barely a graze * Molly nods at him with a smile < 04Molly > 13As you wish, Morgan * Morgan glances at Eiblinn, then out of the window * Molly looks down at her bag, reorganising the bandages she always has with her * Evie tears her gaze away from the couple and goes back to humming, this time a slightly more upbeat catchy tune * Molly looks at them quickly, before looking out of the opposite window < 14Evie > how long are we staying at the monastry for? *her accent has a distinct avalonian twist now* * Molly looks to Morgan < 14Morgan > Just a few nights, I think... was that... * Morgan frowns < 14Evie > Why are we going there again? * Molly looks away < 14Morgan > because we've been told to < 14Evie > Oh...what does a monastry look like? * Molly smiles, relaxing slightly < 04Molly > 13I believe it will be a large manor with a church joined to it, from the reading I have done, although it is Castile, and I am led to believe that people from foreign lands can be very different in their ways and customs than my fellow Avalonians * Molly looks at Morgan < 14Evie > Ooo..sounds interesting...sounds big * Evie smiles and looks outside again < 04Molly > 13Of course, being objectionist, the relgious houses of Avalon are bound to be different from the Vaticine ones... < 04Molly > 13Have you ever been to a monestry before, Morgan? < 14Morgan > I visited one many years ago * Evie looks to Morgan, hoping to hear more then one line < 14Evie > What was it like? < 04Molly > 13Surely not in the land of your birth? < 14Morgan > it was quiet. Monks are... a strange bunch * Evie smiles < 14Evie > The one that visits the manor is nice * Morgan snorts < 14Morgan > the mans a maniac < 14Morgan > Goes into every situation sword drawn, baying for blood < 14Evie > but how many lives has that saved? i know it has perhaps saved mine a few times... < 04Molly > 13I believe he might be better to temper his passion for fighting with a little hesitancy to put himself in harm's way, for I have had to tend his wounds on many occasion. * Molly looks at Morgan < 14Evie > I suppose < 04Molly > 13 4 Having left the village, the coach passes a small farm, with a large drive leading up to a pretty farm house. The drive is flanked by two fields, brown and white cows grazing. * Molly looks out of the window with a little smile < 14Evie > I've always been rubbish at milking cows * Molly laughs < 04Molly > 13Some are easier than others... Even now I find great pleasure whilst milking the cows in the barn * Molly looks out of the window, eyes focused on the cows < 14Evie > When we get back can i try on the cows in the barn? * Morgan speaks quietly < 14Morgan > if we get back * Molly looks at him, fear in her eyes < 04Molly > 13Why would we not?! * Evie darts morgan a semi annoyed look, she then turns to Molly < 14Evie > Do not worry-you will not come into harms way, i promise * Morgan sighs < 14Morgan > Eiblinn, if you intend to take that manner with me, despite my warnings of it, you shall be left behind. * Molly looks out of the window again * Evie also looks out the window, quietly humming to herself again < 04Molly > 13I shall be very pleased to see Lady Siobahn again, it has been many moons < 14Morgan > indeed < 14Evie > Yes, i was quite shocked she had not ended up at the adventurers guild...i expected her to be the type that would end up there < 04Molly > 13I should imagine she might have been on her travels, for with such freedom, would you only ever stay in Avalon? I should imagine I would be too busy travelling the world, all the great cities... * Molly blushes at her own rambling < 14Evie > i am inclined to agree, if i had enough funding, i would travel all i could * Molly laughs softly < 14Evie > yet, i feel that shall never be the case-i have not heard from the guild, so i assume i was not good enough < 04Molly > 13And were I even half as beautiful as she, my first port would be Numa, and the dress shops therein! < 14Evie > Numa? where is that? * Molly smiles, her voice soft as though deep in thought < 04Molly > 13It is the capital city of Vodacce, said to be one of the most beautiful cities in Theah, the inhabitants likewise < 04Molly > 13I could draw you a rough map, if you wished it? * Evie turns to Molly and smiles < 14Evie > sure, i could do with knowing the planet i live on.. * Molly removes a sheet of parchment and a pencil from her bag, and begins to draw. She is quiet for a few minutes as she draws it out. * Evie sits up in her seat trying to see what Molly is drawing < 04Molly > 13It will not be perfect, for my drawing and memory both leave much to be desired I'm afraid < 14Evie > It is ok...i've only seen a map once < 14Evie > that was at the guild < 04Molly > 13I have also only seen a map once... * Molly looks at the map, pinching her lower lip with her thumb and finger < 04Molly > 13 4 The coach pulls up at the docks in the town of Tawstock. * Evie looks at the drawing < 04Molly > 13Oh, I shall have to finish it later. * Molly tucks it in to her bag < 14Evie > oh...i remember that bit *she points to the highlands* < 04Molly > 13 4 The coach driver opens the door, helping Molly out * Evie grabs her mace and gets out the door, half gracefully < 14Evie > Maybe Morgan shall unload the bags while we search for the Captain? < 14Morgan > You'll unload your own bags, I am _not_ one of your servants * Molly goes around the back of the coach, taking her trunk off the back. She rests the sword upon the top of it, balanced precariously * Evie sighs and follows Molly around to the back-taking her own trunk, she sheathes her mace and holsters the pistol < 14Evie > Know where about she'll be? < 04Molly > 13I do not, for I have never seen the ship < 04Molly > 13I shall ask Morgan * Molly comes back to the side of the coach, carefully putting down the trunk and balanced weapon in front of her < 04Molly > 13Morgan, know you which ship belongs to Lady Siobahn, or where we are to meet her? < 14Morgan > she captains the Corail Effrayant, so first we need to find it * Molly nods, and bends down to pick up the trunk < 04Molly > 13I am certain it should not be hard to find, for only a few ocean-going ships come to Tawstock * Evie starts walking off in a random direction < 14Evie > Right then, what's this one called? *she looks at the first closest boat* < 04Molly > 13 4 After a few minutes of searching, the ship is found, and they take their belongings aboard < 14Evie > Right, im going to put me trunk near a free bed. I'll be out in a bit to help with yours Molly. < 14Evie > Actually...i'll wait with you
