* Molly wanders after him towards the gallery. She takes a candle from the hall, opening the door. She lights a few candles inside, and sits down

* Molly takes a deep breath.

< 04Molly > I shall require some money for the journey we must make to Carleon. Morgan was obviously going to be making the expenditure to cover a horse and carriage regardless, but I shall require a seperate room in each lodging house we stop at...
< 14Jaeger > that is perfectly understandable my dear molly, and i shall provide all thast you need
< 04Molly > I shall also need a little to cover the expensive of seeing the doctor, and for a new dress for the wedding
< 14Jaeger > it shall be taken care of my love
< 04Molly > I would ask that you entrust it to Morgan, for he is less likely to lose or spend it friviously
* Molly smiles at him
 [ 9:57pm ]  * Jaeger sorts through the coin in his purse
* Molly averts her eyes respectfully

* Molly takes his hand

 [ 9:59pm ]  * Jaeger jaeger looks at their joined hands and blushes
< 14Jaeger > please tell me, i'm agog to hear it
< 04Molly > I feel it is safer with someone who has previously held even a quater of that amount... I had a single guilder once, many moons ago now, and it was the most I had ever had
* Molly smiles, her voice quiet... her hand shakes slightly with nerves
 [ 10:01pm ]  * Jaeger squeezes molly's hand gently to reassure her

< 14Jaeger > what is troubling you my love? anything you say can only increase mty regard of you
< 04Molly > I know the dangers this house can hold, have stared down things you might never have imagined, and have moped the blood and tended the wounds of those dear to me here... I might not always be able to save everyone
< 04Molly > I worry that I will not be able to save you, and that I shall be left alone and destitute in this world. I am already poor, and it is only through you that I have had any dream of having my own home and security one day. If I lose you, I will have nothing...
< 14Jaeger > i think you have donw much more than your fair share to keep the residents and guests of this household alive
* Molly 's eyes fill with tears
 [ 10:05pm ]  * Jaeger hesitantly moves closer to Molly
< 14Jaeger > you shall not lose me my love
< 14Jaeger > i swear by the gods that i shall remain with you for the rest of our days
* Molly 's face darkens, her voice is low, her fears showing
 [ 10:08pm ]  * Jaeger places a hand on her cheek, and brushes away her tears with his thumb
< 04Molly > I do not believe you understand. So many have died here, defending the house, lady catherine, myself. I have saved the lives of many teetering on the brink of death, and had I not been there, they would have died. Morgan owes his life to me from this, as do others. I will not always be in the right place at the right time, and I fear that if you are gone, I will have no hope of ever having a future that does not involve relying soley upon the graces of this house
< 14Jaeger > what is it you wish of me my love? ask and it shall be yours
* Molly looks at him, her guard down. She understands that she asks a great deal
 [ 10:12pm ]  * Jaeger hopes that his eyes do not show the conflict between his military and noble training and his love for Molly
 [ 10:12pm ]  * Jaeger relaxes slowly as his love wins out
< 04Molly > I would have that you might see a solicitor, and arrange that in the unlikely event of something happening to you, I would be provided for, however little that provision might be.
 [ 10:13pm ]  * Jaeger starts in surprise, as this was the last thing he was expecting
* Molly strokes his palm with her thumb, a soft smile
< 04Molly > I shall understand if it is not something you would consent to, it is a forward request I know.
< 14Jaeger > .....well, .....yes of course, i will draft a letter that my allowance provided to me will be provided, as well as a handsome sum in the event of my passing my love
< 14Jaeger > to be honest, if i may, that is the last thing i was expecting you to ask.
< 04Molly > Will your parents still provide an allowance, even before I am your wedded wife?
< 14Jaeger > i was expecting you to ask me to steer clear of any dangerous situations that may arise here
* Molly laughs softly
< 14Jaeger > i see that yours is the better though out solution my love
< 04Molly > It is my experience that no man will avoid any danger in this house, perhaps from a fall in the gender, or perhaps because trouble finds it's own way to the doorstep of each of us
 [ 10:17pm ]  * Jaeger looks deep into Molly's eyes, his hand still on her cheek
< 04Molly > I would imagine that perhaps the idea that I should not have to struggle to find a lonely life for myself were the worst to happen might also appeal to you?
< 14Jaeger > as long as you are happy and safe i would rest easily my love. it is my fondest wish that i be there with you, but if i am taken from you, i would rater you were able to continue in your new life
 [ 10:19pm ]  * Jaeger appears to be trembling slightly
* Molly embraces him
< 04Molly > You are a good man, my lord, and I believe that we will have a good and happy future together
 [ 10:20pm ]  * Jaeger returns the embrace with gusto
< 14Jaeger > i am glad you think so and i hope i can satissfy you my love
 [ 10:22pm ]  * Jaeger pulls away slightly, his face comically formal
< 04Molly > I see the pain in Morgan, and dread that it might also be my fate. To have you at least be able to grant me now that I might be able to secure myself a small home where I could live out my days without having to move from place to place as he does has soothed my soul
* Molly keeps hold of his hands
< 14Jaeger > would my lady allow me to seal this accord with a kiss?
* Molly blushes
< 14Jaeger > i hope with all the strength in my heart that this shall not be the case, for either of us to feel that pain
 [ 10:23pm ]  * Jaeger returns her blush
< 04Molly > yes, but chastly, for I shall keep my purity as in tact as possible, so that when I come to you on our wedding night you might have all of me, having had so little before
< 14Jaeger > as it should be my love
 [ 10:24pm ]  * Jaeger moves closer and kisses Molly softly
* Molly kisses him back quickly, her lips pressed together, and then pulls away
< 04Molly > We must return to the others, before they wonder where we have been.
< 14Jaeger > of course. afteryou my love
* Molly stands, blowing out the other candles, but keeping one aside
 [ 10:28pm ]  * Jaeger stands also, and follows molly back the way they came
< 04Molly > Would you have me take your missive to Carleon?
< 14Jaeger > that may be prudent yes, so it gets there all the faster
* Molly leads him back to the dining room, and pushes the door open
